on july 8th, 2024, russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv. nearly 200 injured. 42 dead, 4 of them were little children. one of the targets was Okhmatdyt, the country’s largest children’s hospital. several departments, including the oncology wing, were severely damaged. the children, whose life is already at risk every day, had to be evacuated from the hospital and spend days without the necessary treatment.
